I must begin by once again saying thank you to our member owners for their patience and for doing their part in conserving energy over the last several days. The power grid has been operating at a level 2 alert since 6:30 last night. The combined efforts of everyone across a 14 state region to conserve energy is making a difference. So far today, there have not been any rolling blackouts. But we are not out of the woods yet.

Please continue to do your part to conserve energy until temperatures return to more normal conditions. Your cooperative has been and will continue to control water heaters and other loads beyond our normal time limits. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. So far, our membership has not had to endure a rolling blackout, and with your continued efforts we may get through this with just some cold showers.

I expect this to be behind us by noon tomorrow. I will post more updates as I have them to share. Stay safe everyone.
