Empower Youth

Cooperative leadership program for high school students

What is it?

Empower Youth's mission is to help high school students recognize their leadership potential and instill the cooperative mindset of selflessness and a commitment to bettering the world around them!

This unique leadership program includes three main sessions, including a 1) one day spring 2018 session, 2) three day summer Youth Excursion trip to North Dakota, and 3) one day fall 2018 session.

Students will join other peer leaders from across South Dakota for valuable networking and workshops.

Who is eligible?

To be eligible, you must be a high school freshman or sophomore who permanently resides within Aurora, Brule, Buffalo, Jerauld, Sanborn, Miner, Davison, or Hanson counties of South Dakota or be the dependent of a Central Electric member.

One student from each county or director district may be selected.
